Friend: Are you kidding me? Onemillionmoms.com is protesting the new JC Penny ad because it has a REAL couple that just happens to be 2 men. This is why I hate most religious beliefs. Oh and by the way, the bible may have been against gay relationships, but JESUS never said a thing about it.

Me: Okay, your last statement. Your right Jesus himself didn’t say anything out of his mouth about homosexuality, but he did commend it. How? Will read John 5:17-47. If you do not want to take the time to read it then take this verse for example. “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.” John 5:19 (NIV) or ““Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.” John 5:24 (NIV) these words was spoken by Jesus himself indicating that as if a father was teaching his Son, God in heaven has taught Jesus. Jesus is nothing apart from the father. So what his father does or says, loves or hates Jesus does to. So there you go. I don’t really think I need to put the verses on homosexuality here because…it seems that’s the only thing most people take from the bible. Yea, and that Onemillionmoms.com thing is quite baffling.
