“Heavenly Father, please God be with the family members and friends of those killed and wounded last night in Colorado. Comfort them God, as only you can do. Protect the officers as they investigate, and wrap the entire community in your loving arms. Amen”

It just breaks my heart to wake up and see this on the news, I am not only solemn for the victims of this event but also for the young man who committed the act. Where was the loved ones in his life, the people this man could have talked to? I wish I can just sit and talk to this man one hour before he committed this crime. Oh Lord, for one hour. Maybe all he needed was someone to love and give him attention. That is so important. Lord Jesus, help us all. Please, do not forsake us. We have already forsaken ourselves.
